Bronson Battle Creek provides a high level of professionalism and technology, but with the equally important human touch and that's where you, as a volunteer, can be of great service. You can help alleviate the natural fears and apprehensions of the patient and their families by performing courteous and helpful services. Volunteers donate their time, talents and services to help Bronson Battle Creek provide quality care to patients and families. Last year, Bronson Battle Creek volunteers gave more than 70,000 hours of service. Volunteers assist with visitor and patient information, escorting a family member to the appropriate area, run errands for staff, tend to the gift shop just to mention a few of the services they provide.

Volunteer Opportunities
Bronson Battle Creek depends on help from volunteers in many areas. Assignments include working the reception desk, assisting with clerical tasks, transporting wheelchair patients, providing support to patients and families and retail sales in the gift shop. Volunteers may also participate in fundraising for Bronson Battle Creek health care programs and services. We try to find you a volunteer assignment to match your individual interest and talents.
Who Volunteers

Bronson Battle Creek volunteers come from all walks of life and backgrounds. Our volunteers are teenagers, retired adults, moms and dads, college students and professionals. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old and willing to work approximately fours hours per week. We ask adults to commit to at least six months, and students to commit to a full semester or summer.
