Two BCHS Associates Go 'Above and Beyond'

Two Battle Creek Health System associates were recognized recently for going 'above and beyond' in customer service and cost effectiveness. Candice Generi, a staff nurse on the surgery unit and Rob Chaplin, facilities manager received the health system's Above & Beyond--Outstanding Recognition Awards.

The honor is given to those who demonstrate exemplary actions that embrace the organization's mission and values. The BCHS Above & Beyond Award program includes not only BCHS associates, but also physicians on the BCHS medical staff. Associates and physicians are nominated in one of four categories by co-workers, patients, or guests: customer relations, innovation and cost effectiveness, performance/productivity, and enthusiasm/commitment.

Generi was recognized for her outstanding customer service and Chaplin for his innovation and cost effectiveness.
