Felpausch Foundation golf outing to help cancer patients
If you are interested in golf, and want to help local cancer survivors with their medications, then this event may be just 'what the doctor ordered.' The Felpausch Foundation is hosting its second annual golf outing on Saturday, July 25, at Binder Park Golf Course, south of Battle Creek. Registration is scheduled for 2 p.m. with a shotgun start at 2:30 p.m. Incentive auction and raffle prizes include among other things, tickets to Notre Dame and Michigan State University football games, and autographed items from the Detroit Tigers, Lions, and Red Wings. Since administrative costs will be covered by the Foundation, all proceeds from this event will go to The Cancer Care Center's Cancer Medication Fund at Battle Creek Health System. This fund assures that cancer patients who have little or no insurance will have access to needed medications for their treatments. For more information about golfing, donations, or sponsorships, contact Corey LaGro at (269) 832-7022 or felpausch78@gmail.com . Battle Creek Health System, sponsored by two parent
organizations--Trinity Health (the fourth largest
Catholic health system in the U.S. with 21 hospitals,
9 nursing homes, 19 senior house facilities, 8 home
health care agencies, and 4 hospices in Michigan
alone) and BCHS Community Partners, is accredited
by the Joint Commission. Battle Creek Health System, a member
of the Mercy Cancer Network, is a recipient of the
