Services Women’s Health at Bronson Battle Creek

For some women, healthcare is much more than an annual exam. At Bronson Battle Creek, we offer a variety of services to meet the specific needs of women at every stage of life.

Breast Health
We take breast health to the next level of care, from prevention to mammograms to breast surgery. At the Mary Coleman Mammography Center, we offer screenings and mammography, including digital mammography. These services are also available at the Outpatient Center on Beckley Road.

Bone Health
Forty percent of women over age 50 have osteoporosis.  A bone density test measures the areas at risk for a fracture, such as the hip or spine. It is the best way to screen for osteoporosis. We provide bone density screenings at the Mary Coleman Mammography Center and at the Outpatient Center on Beckley Road.

Cancer
Being diagnosed with cancer means coping with changes for both the body and the mind. That’s why Bronson Battle Creek Hospital has services to help those with a cancer diagnosis. This includes gynecological and breast cancer surgery and inpatient cancer treatment.

Gynecology
Our board certified ob-gyn doctors and nurse practitioners are here to help you achieve your best health at every stage of life. For care such as annual exams, family planning and birth control options, sexually transmitted diseases, and menopause care, see one of our many gynecologic experts at their practice.

Gynecological Surgery
Do you have pain or heavy bleeding from fibroids, endometriosis or other gynecological problems? Talk to your doctor to see if surgery is right for you, and ask about the benefits of robotic surgery. Conditions treated by robotic surgery at Bronson Battle Creek include:

Heart Disease
Did you know that heart disease is the leading cause of death among women? Despite the perception that heart disease is a man’s disease, more women than men die of heart disease each year. Find out what you can do to protect yourself.

Midlife Education
Sometimes the changes women go through during midlife can be challenging. You may have questions about what’s normal and what’s not. Bronson Battle Creek offers information, classes and events to help you through these changes in your life.
